About · The Doctor Behind BodBei
Dr. Rishabh
Bhardwaj
MBBS, Fellowship in Family Medicine
I've been practicing medicine for more than 5 years.
But I've been observing human biology since I was in school.
Where I first started seeing.
I saw my grandfather take a single tablet of diabetes medicine. In a few years the number of tablets had increased. Later he was on insulin, and the only advice given to him was to reduce sugar in his diet and do some walking. Even then, his kidneys and liver were getting dysfunctioned.
What med school showed me.
In med school, I learned that lifestyle was the number one cause of diabetes — and of most chronic diseases. Yet no one prescribed lifestyle the way they prescribed medicines.
Five years in the field.
The most shocking finding came in these last 5 years of practice.
I chose not to work 9-to-6 in hospitals. I wanted to study people the way they actually live — not as cases of symptoms, but as lives shaped by daily lifestyle.
In these 5 years I have worked with various corporates, hospitals, and NGOs:
The observation: every alternate adult has at least two or three lifestyle-based disorder risks, or is borderline. Hypertension, Diabetes, digestive issues, chronic stress, hormonal issues, knee and back problems — and the list goes on, even to the risk of a heart attack.
Many have told me their lives are still miserable, even when their blood reports are normal after taking multiple pills daily for years.
Why this keeps happening.
Because care is fragmented.
We see doctors for symptoms — and that's good. But the system is built to treat the symptom fast, not to ask what lifestyle produced it, or how to change it. So we keep treating the tree, never the roots.
the tree can never nourish.
Where BodBei came from.
I noticed these patterns when I was working with children at the NGO.
They had certain things about their nature that gave rise to certain body conditions — the same conditions that were causing the diseases in those adults I had seen in practice.
And that's when it hit me to start this practice.
I wanted to make a unified system — one that is truly holistic, and truly personalised.
What BodBei holds together.
Alongside my medical degree, I had been studying Ayurveda and Yoga. Later, I went deeper — into Kashmir Shaivism, a 1200-year-old science of how a human being is actually structured.
I founded BodBei to serve people with the knowledge of Ancient Wisdom integrated with Modern Science and Medicine — to nourish their whole Self.
Because it is the same system, forgotten twice.
Ancient Wisdom has been misinterpreted and misused.
Modern Medicine has been limited to disease treatment.
Both systems have forgotten what they define as the whole Self.
What I'm building.
